- Days 1-5
From Day 1, if you are not conceived, your menstrual period begins and it continues till the 5th day of menstrual cycle by passing menstrual fluid through vagina. The fluid is discharged when the uterus sheds the blood vessels and the soft tissues from its inner lining. This leads to a low level of estrogen and progesterone, and the body temperature is of 96- 98°F. The muscle contraction of the uterine may induce abdominal cramps in many women with a blood loss of 10- 80 ml in these days.
